Program Coach
I am currently a Program Manager for Siemens Digital Industries Software. I lead large teams of professional consultants delivering our PLM industry software to DoD Tier 1 aircraft manufacturers. I’ve been with Siemens since 2020. Before joining Siemens, I worked for Purdue University for six years as a Project Management Office (PMO) manager in Purdue’s central IT organization. While in this role, I had the opportunity to attend the 2016 program. Prior to this, I spent 18 years with Delphi Automotive Systems, holding various lead and manager roles with Engineering IT support, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Global Electrical Engineering Process, and PMO.
I would describe my initial manager “training” as how many experience it: I got promoted, and they didn’t tell me anything about what I was supposed to do or how I was supposed to do it. I tried to piece together influences from my previous managers. Attending MGRdev gave me actionable guidance about what I do and my behaviors as a manager. I now enjoy sharing these principles with other managers through book studies, mentoring, and coaching.
